Late 2006, Jonathan Haselden made music and world history by being the first unsigned artist in the World to sell a line from an unreleased song for a sum of money with significant value. Following this achievement, Haselden was covered by the world's media, appearing on BBC Radio, CNN, BBC News and as well as being interviewed for US and Canadian Radio and having articles in most major UK newspapers.
Realising that the music needed the support of a full band, RedBoxBlue was formed and started to play the well trodden London circuit.
RedBoxBlue now aim to make another world first, by being the first unsigned band in the world to achieve a number one hit in the UK Top 40. With the single sales currently needed for a Top 10 hit, and the support already in place from major UK Newspapers and Radio this is more than achievable. I Try has been recorded, mixed and mastered by some of the most recognised names in today's music industry, producing a song that is already being tipped to be one of 2008's radio hits.
