Elvis Chambers was born in Wolverhampton,West Midlands.
This singer, songwriter, musician grew up in a non musical family where pursuing music wasnt considered an option. A friend who noticed the quality of his voice had him agree to "temporarily" front a band. As soon as he got involved his talent was confirmed and temporary became permanent.
Armed with a new found knowledge of his talent it wasnt long before Elvis became part of the London session scene developing his versatility and raw talent by working with acts such as M People, James Taylor Quartet and Andy Taylor (Duran Duran). He's also worked with acts that have supported the likes of Chaka Khan, Alexander O' Neal and Blur.
Described as, 'A powerful and charismatic vocalist',
and, 'a passionate and dynamic performer', he has released several CD's both as
a solo artist and as a member of a band. His material draws from the huge variety
of music that has influenced him; from punk to reggae to soul, and his style has
been described as Soul/Rock.
No stranger to large venues, Elvis has
performed at such prestigious venues as The Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena and
Old Trafford Football ground. He once captivated an audience at a Radio 1 roadshow
when he was forced to sing accapella due to failed equipment. He has appeared
on TVam, Nicolodeon, Live TV, and in magazines such as Smash Hits, NME and Raw.
Elvis sees live music as a stepping stone to his first love; live performances.
He's currently gigging and writing songs with view to releasing an album.
