Donnacha Toomey is an accomplished vocalist/guitarist having played in a number of bands of various genres both in Ireland and across mainland Europe.

Following recent solo appearances at festivals including 'Spirit of Voice' in Galway, 'Exile on South Main St.' in Wexford and the 'Limerick Acoustic Guitar Festival' Donnacha has shared the stage with a number of international performers including Sheila Chandra, Gordon Giltrap and Clive Carroll.

Donnacha's new album entitled 'Standing Ground' will be available in Spring '09.

'Reasons' is Donnacha's debut release, a three track CD which serves as an introduction to his solo roots based material. 'Reasons' has been featured on RTE Radio 1, RTE Raidió na Gaeltachta and received extensive airplay on a number of other stations around Ireland. Most recently 'Reasons' was playlisted for BBC Northern Ireland, a host of radio stations in the U.K. and a number of stations throughout the USA.
