Talented, serious, charismatic, Daniel Robu has the makings of a star. He studied classic guitar, keyboards composition and canto. An integrated personality, he writes his own music and lyrics that gives him a very motivating creative freedom and a consistent style. He assimilated various styles, then he decided for pop dance, pop rock and pop soul.
Besides the solo LP's already released, ANOTHER END (1995), SCARED (1997), HOROSCOPE (2001), OXIGEN(2003), INTENSE(2006), Daniel has composed instrumental and film music as well.
His professional development and his belief in true values keeps him aside of the temptation of an easy success, his future plans aiming high. Singing live in concerts, working in recording studios with professionals of the music industry, touring in famous places make him being an open-minded person, easy to talk to and friendly.
A natural charm and modesty make Daniel a nice person to whom you can talk as if with a friend, even when you don't know him for too long. That might be an explanation for his popularity, and not only as a star for the young music consumers, but among all the people around him.

WHAT HAS HE DONE SO FAR ?

1."Best Voice" award and the "Popularity prize" at the "Three out of ten for a show" contest (1993)
2. First album - "Another end" (1995)
3. He represented Romania at the "Golden Stag" International Festival (Brasov), where the British producer, David Stones and the German producer Rolf Wetzel from Soundhouse Records, noticed him.(1995)
4. The single, "Ready to be strong", from the album "Another end" is no.1 in the RAKS Music Top for 4 weeks.
5. The instrumental song, "Between 2 Whispers", broadcast by BBC London in October 1995
6. Intercont Music, his Record Company in Romania, releases the maxi-single, "Mai e timp"("There is still time") - Spring 1996
7. "Balada"("The Ballad"), from the above mentioned maxi-single, is No.1 for 4 weeks in several national charts
8. "Golden Stag" International Festival, the LP section (june 1997) - his album "Scared" is judged as the best production of a Romanian artist.
9. Daniel works with Don Mitchell - who also produced for Phil Collins, Adamski, Mike And The Mechanics, Lisa Stansfield and a lot of international artists.
10. Release of the second album -"Scared"- produced by Soundhouse Records Germany and Intercont Music Romania, entirely recorded in Germany - 1997

12. Also in the year 1998 in Copenhagen (Denmark) - the above mentioned album was chosen as the most representative album in the South - East Europe

14. Promotional tour for "Scared" in Germany (Leipzig, Halle, Berlin, Aue, Magdeburg, Stendal, Chemnitz, Dresda, Bonn) for 3 months - summer 1998
15. The tour consists of concerts together with some leading artists in Germany such as : The Soul tans , A. K. Swift, Bad Boys Blue, Funky Diamonds, 2 Fast 4 YOU. The hot, modern, professional sound of the concerts (techno, hip-hop ,reggae) attracts more than 10 000 people for a show.

17. After a live interview in the news program of a famous German TV Channel - MDR- the TV station is bombed by phone calls, over 20 marriage proposals being made to Daniel!!! Kind of scary, isn't it?

WHO IS SILVIA ?

Her birth name is Silvia Launeanu and she was born in Timisoara where she began to study violin at the local music High School "ION VIDU" since she was 7 years.When she was seven she proved that she had real skills for the greatest competitions.
After four years of study her parents transferred her in Bucharest at the famous music school "DINU LIPATTI" . At her first participation of an international violin contest, which took place in Prague at the age of 12, she won the big prize.
That was only the beginning!
That contest was followed by other 27, in the most important European countries :Italy, Germany, Belgium, England, Luxembourg, Hungary.
Right after she graduated high school, Silvia continued studying at the most important National Music Academy "CIPRIAN PORUMBESCU".
In the year 2000, Silvia met Daniel, who was fascinated by her talent, beauty and charisma, fact that made him consider a collaboration between the two of them.
The immediate result was a smash hit named "The Girl With The Violin" ranking no.1 in the most important charts in Romania. Since that moment Silvia became Vegas and she was the first appearance ever of a girl who played the violin and sang at the same time. In fact, that was her first step in pop music industry.

WHAT HAS SHE DONE SO FAR ?

1. 35 national and international classic violin contests where she won 22 prizes and 5 toffees
2. In 1999, Vegas together with Daniel are in the national final of the "Eurovision" contest, ranking No 4.
3. Release of her first solo album, "Possessive", produced by Daniel Robu(2001)
4. In 2002 Vegas and Daniel decided to work on a new project called "DE LA VEGAS"

DE LA VEGAS

1. "Eurovision 2003 " - event that helped the song "Oxigen" reach the highest places in the charts.
2. In the summer of 2003, the two artists released their first album called, "Oxigen", and, pretty soon, the project DE LA VEGAS became one of the best bands in Romania.
3. The first single, "Oxigen", which also gave the name for the album, reached No. 1 in some very important TV and radio charts.
4. In 2006, the single, "E scandalos", was a no. 1 hit radio for 6 weeks.
5. In 2008, the single, "Just a minute", was in Romanian top 100(www.rt100.ro) for over 3 months.
